<li>Never pick up or move a burning candle. </li>
<li>Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/8" to ensure even burning & prevent flame from becoming too large. This will also reduce soot. </li>
<li>Keep foreign objects such as wick trimmings and matches out of candle.</li>
<li>Burn on a stable, heat resistant surface for no more than 3 hours.</li>
<li>Keep away from flammable objects, children and pets.</li>
<li>Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.</li>
