Position Summary
Lindsey Leigh Jewelry is seeking a Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing to lead and elevate the digital experience across all customer touchpoints. This role will be responsible for driving the company’s ecommerce growth by developing and executing high-level digital marketing strategies, managing website operations, overseeing brand messaging, and optimizing customer engagement across digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned digital marketing professional with a proven track record of managing ecommerce platforms in a luxury goods environment. This person must be highly analytical, creative, and able to lead cross-functional teams while managing relationships with external partners and agencies. A deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and performance analytics is essential. Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Strategy & Website Management:
● Partner with leadership to establish and manage ecommerce goals and KPIs
● Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce and marketing strategy aligned with business goals to drive revenue growth and enhance customer experience.
● Oversee day-to-day management of the website, ensuring the site is visually aligned with the brand, optimized for conversions, and updated regularly.
● Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to continuously enhance site functionality, UX, and overall digital experience.
● Manage website merchandising, ensuring seamless product listings, categorization, and effective search functionality.
● Lead A/B testing initiatives to optimize landing pages, product pages, and checkout experiences.
● Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring the platform and tools are optimized for business growth.
● Effectively communicate strategic objectives and KPIs to agency partners, ensuring that they align with brand goals and deliver measurable results.
● Utilize Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor ecommerce performance, analyze KPIs, and generate actionable insights.
● Regularly review and optimize digital marketing efforts based on data, ensuring continual growth and improved ROI.
● Implement ongoing improvements based on customer feedback, heatmaps, and usability testing.
● Develop and present regular performance reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for growth.
Digital Marketing & Performance Optimization:
● Create a bottoms up strategy for each digital marketing channel and establish goals and KPIs that achieve business goals and growth
● Develop and manage omnichannel digital marketing calendar and strategies across Email, SMS, Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, and Affiliate Networks to drive traffic, conversion, and retention to hit business goals.
● Oversee the development and execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns (via Klaviyo and Attentive), ensuring content is engaging, targeted, and aligned with brand goals.
● Serve as the primary liaison with external digital agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and goal alignment.
● Partner with agencies to manage PPC, SEO, and retargeting efforts, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
● Analyze data across all digital platforms, including Google Analytics, to identify trends, customer behavior, and opportunities for optimization.
● Develop and refine attribution models to assess the effectiveness of all digital marketing efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
● Analyze marketing trends, customer data and campaign information, measure ROI, and execute data-driven marketing decisions
● Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies, analyze marketing trends, customer data and campaign information, measure ROI, and execute data-driven marketing decisions

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
● Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing ecommerce and digital marketing team.
● Foster collaboration between marketing, creative, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive digital experience.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the digital strategy supports overall company growth objectives.
● Effectively communicate strategic objectives and KPIs to agency partners, ensuring that they align with brand goals and deliver measurable results.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
● 7+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or performance marketing with a proven record of growing brands and achieving KPIs.
● Demonstrated success in scaling brands through innovative e-commerce strategies and performance marketing.
● Use insights from data to make strategic decisions that fuel long-term growth.
● Expertise in analytics and digital platforms including Shopify+, GA4, Klaviyo, Attentive, Google Ads, Meta, ShareASale, TikTok, Pinterest. Advanced Excel skills required for in-depth reporting, data analysis, and performance modeling.
● Strong background in acquisition and retention strategy, with demonstrated ability to optimize paid media channels and grow a brand’s digital presence.
● Exceptional communication skills for reporting on performance metrics and collaborating across teams.
● Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work within budget constraints.
● Agile and resourceful, with the ability to prioritize and manage shifting demands in a fast-paced environment.
● Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners involved in marketing and content production.
● Proven ability to engage, connect, and build an audience across multiple channels
● Ability to hit the ground running, take on projects, and identify gaps and fill them with little direction
● Cultivate and execute all partnerships, major quarterly partnerships, and grow brand awareness
