Retail Sales and Back of House Operations

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized Retail Salesperson and Back of House Operations Associate to join our thriving company. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding the perfect piece of jewelry, exceeding sales goals, and assisting with shipments and orders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Actively listen to customer needs and preferences to recommend the ideal jewelry pieces.
  • Possess a deep understanding of our jewelry selection, including materials, gemstones, and styles.
  • Effectively style and showcase the features and benefits of our jewelry.
  • Responsible for maintaining product knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and meeting sales goals.
  • Assist customers with trying on jewelry and answer any questions to help close the sale.
  • Assist with intaking client repairs and follow all procedures to accurately complete the process.
  • Assist clients with In Store Pick-Ups.
  • Partner and collaborate with Customs Specialists during the selling process when appropriate. 
  • Spearhead  E-commerce shipping and assist with back of house operations in the bullpen. 
  • Support E-commerce, Marketing, and Social Media with different tasks when needed. 
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Learn and become proficient in using our POS and other systems to complete all transactions, manage inventory, ship out orders, and access client order information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring proper display.
  • Replenish packaging materials at POS and other items necessary to keep the store maintained.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming store environment.
  • Participate in inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. 
  • Support Events, Photo Shoots, and Trunk Shows by helping pack and process merchandise and other materials. 
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Retail sales experience, preferably in the jewelry industry (a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for the jewelry industry and a passion for fashion or design.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed sales goals.
  • POS Shopify Experience (preferred, but not required.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Creativity and willingness to overcome obstacles in the face of challenges.
